Steve Katz began his real estate career in 1989 at the Jon Douglas Company. After a 9 years as a sales associate he went in to Management. After Jon Douglas company was acquired by the parent company of Coldwell Banker,Steve began managing for the company and subsequently managed 5 different offices over 25 years. Steve has hired ,trained and coached hundreds of sales associates over the years ,and 8 agents under his mentorship have now become managers. Prior to joining Rodeo Realty -Steve was the managing director of Hilton and Hyland real estate in Beverly hills,CA

Steve's philosophy is to be a "business development partner" with his agents.

He believes that managers "administrate" and coaches and leaders "innovate".

He coaches them no matter what stage their business is in-with the goals they set together-and meets with them regularly to make sure they stay on track. He arms them with information and statistics that helps them develop EXPERTISE and keeps them focused with a "SERVICE MENTALITY"-putting clients needs above everything else. Steve also makes sure his agents are up to date on the latest and often changing real estate contracts and risk management issues.
